Tempestry Project® Workshop / Activity Box for approximately 30 participants

$285.00

Tempestry Workshops are an excellent way to engage learners of all ages, from grade school on up, in conversation about climate change in their local and global communities. No knitting or crocheting required! Participants use pre-cut lengths of yarn and Velcro to create these mini climate histories, so perfect for classrooms, science fairs, etc. No gluey mess, no frustration with trying to learn to knit!

Each Workshop in a Box has enough materials for approximately 30 participants to create mini Tempestries showing annual deviation from average temperatures over the last 70 years for a particular state, the United States, and Global data. (Global data is shown in the main photo.)

This includes a roll of Velcro (hook side only), 50g each of all 16 New Normal Tempestry colors, a yarn winder for cutting lengths of yarn for the project, 3 data sets (emailed to you), beads for marking important years in participants’ lives, and beading hooks.

You will need to cut yarn and Velcro into strips before the workshop begins.

Supplies can be re-ordered as needed for future classes, and we are happy to send updated data.

**Colors in photos are as accurate as possible but may appear differently on different screens.**

All our work is done in a smoke-free but cat-friendly home. While this particular cat is not prone to playing with yarn, her hair (as any pet owner knows) does occasionally stray.
